Base 12 Records - We started back in the 1980s doing Electrofunk, Electro, Freestyle, Technofunk. We originally started as a production team in 1987 and produced music for Jonny Chingas, VSF, JDC-Dunk Yer Funk Records in San Pedro, CA and others. Like many artists from the past, we had stopped for many years and not too long ago decided to start making vinyl again. We have 2 new releases in 2022 and more to come.

Base 12 Records Cat 126 The ultra-rare 1990 Reakshone-X “It’s Party Time” has been re-created from scratch using the exact same synthesizers and Roland SVC vocoder from the 1980s. J-vibe even included a bridge change that was excluded from the original recording by mistake! The original recording suffered from dynamics and was recorded on used 8 track reel tape.
